Apollo allows you to deploy different analytics implementation elements to different environments. Most websites/apps have development, staging and production environments, so Apollo allows you to publish tag management configurations, analytics variables, dashboards, etc. to each of these different environments. To facilitate this, you need to assign your analytics tool data sets (i.e. Adobe Analytics Report Suites) to each of these environments. To do this, you start with clicking on the pencil icon associated with each environment:

The subsequent screen will ask you to choose a connection, which will use the analytics tool connection established earlier. You can use that connection to select the data set that corresponds to the environment you selected. For example, if you click on the pencil icon next to Development, you would assign it to the development data set (which in Adobe Analytics is a report suite):

Once you have done this, you can click the Save button to save and repeat these steps for all of your environments. When you create a property, Apollo defaults you to three environments (Development, Staging, Production), but you can add or remove these as needed. Note that Apollo will not create new data sets (i.e. Report Suites) for you. You must create any new data sets within your analytics tool prior to engaging in the preceding process.

Once you have set up your Apollo property, you are ready to begin designing your analytics implementation. Keep in mind that many of the preceding settings only have to be performed once.
