The Map Existing Implementation feature enables you to translate the data points in your existing implementation into Apollo's events and attributes. This allows you to leverage your existing analytics solutions and maintain historical data, even after you have re-implemented using Apollo. When importing your existing implementation, you are able to pre-select all of the Apollo business requirements your organization is already using. By mapping your existing data points to Apollo's data points, the business requirements related to the events and variables you are already tracking, will be automatically enabled in your new solution.

To maintain parity with your existing solution, you are asked to map your existing implementation before you begin adding new business requirements. This is a great way to start building your organization's business requirements list before integrating the other best-practice business requirements in Apollo, making your implementation even stronger!

Currently, Apollo supports mapping existing Adobe Analytics and Google Tag Manager implementations.
