Design : Create Variable

You may now create Variables of the type "Third Party".

When you deploy a "Third Party" Variable Tracking Item, the associated Apollo Event, Attribute, and Data Source are deployed to Tag Manager and Data Layer Docs accordingly. However, no Variable configuration occurs in your Data Destination (i.e., Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics).

Third Party Variable types are helpful when you need to add data layer attributes to support Third Party tracking. You may create and deploy Business Requirements in Apollo associated with Third Party Variables, then have your tag manager specialist follow up with configuring the appropriate Third Party tag in your Tag Manager.
